The Monin Difference
Monin Seafoods sources the freshest quality seafood to supply direct to the public 6 days per week (Monday to Saturday) & 7 days at the Forster site Red Spot Jetty. You will be able to find everything you need, from prawns, lobsters, crabs, oysters, fish fillets, mussels, marinara mix, whole fish to speciality items like smoked trout & salmon, Tasmanian scallops.
As you enter in past the barn doors into the front of the shop you will be greeted by a vast display of quality frozen lines and condiments to match. A great selection of quality Italian pasta & sauces, japanese condiments, Olive Oils, seafood sauces & dressings to compliment your fresh seafood purchase. You can also pick up cooking utensils to help you create that special dish.

We source direct from the fishermen or supplier, so our range is dependant on the season and what species are abundant given the conditions. By sourcing seasonally it allows us to keep the quality & freshness to a premium.

Growing up in Nelson Bay Port Stephens, fishing has been an integral part of our family for over 70 years and continues to this day. Being part of this fishing community gives us access to a vast network of fishermen throughout NSW to source quality seafood direct from the ocean on a regular basis. Buying direct from the fishermen, co-operatives and producers helps ensure you receive the highest quality seafood available.
